Polyester thin film heater, also known as polyester foil heaters, PET film heater, or INK PET heating film, is a type of flexible heating element made from a thin film of polyester. It is normally used in low-power applications at middle to high voltage, where precious metals are often used to achieve the required low-power output. It is thin, transparent, lightweight, and flexible. And offers high thermal transfer capability and uniform heating distribution. This unique feature provides uniform heating on the heating surface of the element. Thus, it is suitable for contact heating of flat and cylindrical surfaces. As well as for applications such as reflectors.
Our thin film heater is suitable for low-temperature heating needs. It has low thermal heat capacity characteristics and high thermal transfer capability. It is produced through a silk screen printing (Etching) process that ensures the minimum possible thickness of the heater, starting from just 0.2mm. Our Polyester Ink (Etching available) heaters use low resistance printed silver as the heating element and conductive ink to assure the heating characteristics. Our thin film heater is durable and insensitive to minor damages thanks to the numerous parallel-connected polymer resistors that generate the heat.
The maximum size is 750mm squared and can reach a maximum temperature of 105 degrees Celsius (221 F). We offer customized power density and power input design.
